| If you own a Canon digital camera and if you shoot .CRW (Canon RAW format) then this is for you. If you don’t or can’t or don’t know what I’m talking about, you probably want to hit the back button now. Windows doesn’t recognize the .THM files. They are in fact .JPG thumbnails of the .CRW file and contain the full EXIF info for the picture. Searching www.dpreview.com/forums led me to a thread that contained a registry file. If you import this file into your windows registry, .THM will become a recognizable extension. Explorer and other windows applications will display these files. You can download the registry file below. Once you download this file to you computer, double click it to import the data into your registry. I have tried this on Windows 2000 and on Windows XP and it works as advertised. I have placed this here for convenience, if you computer blows up please don’t blame me. :) To download Shift click the link below, or right click and save target.
